PANTHERS OF OLD MEMBERSHIP (POOM)

DOWNLOAD A MEMBERSHIP FORM HERE

The POOM is now in its tenth year, last year we attracted 66 current or past members and supporters of the Mighty Panthers together as one to assist with the well being of the club. Each year we try to improve on this number. It is the intention of the committee to exceed 80 members this year and we would like you to be one of our valued POOM members. It is important to note that the current RFC committee has given its full support to the POOM to develop this initiative.

Please find below an overview of the Panthers of Old Membership club's proposed aims and objectives.

* The primary aim of the group is to raise revenue and then distribute funds to ensure the current and future stability of the Railways Football Club.

* Providing financial assistance with regard to both Junior and Senior football development.

* Provision of club facilities and equipment.

* Membership is open to all current and ex members of the Railway Football Club and any Panther supporter.

* POOM will be administered separately from the RFC committee, however we have two RFC committeemen on the POOM committee who report back to the RFC Committee at each meeting. As with any sporting club members are its lifeblood and an extremely valuable part of what makes a club operate successfully, benefits of becoming a member are as follows.

* POOM membership will make you an automatic member of the RFC.

* Acknowledgement on the POOM membership name board to be proudly displayed in the RFC clubrooms

* Invitation to specific POOM functions throughout the season

* Regular updates on RFC website All POOM membership contributions received have been injected into the RFC at the discretion of the POOM committee members to ensure our great club continued in its capacity to be the benchmark of football in the Goldfields region.

It goes without saying that should you decide to support the Panthers of Old we look forward to seeing you at the club for a drink whenever your time permits or at our proposed functions to enjoy being a part of this exciting initiative that will without doubt help underpin the strength of the club we all love.

The clubrooms are open to all on a Friday evening from about 6pm to watch training and of course on home games on some Saturdays, Saturday nights and Sundays.
